How long is the event?

FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Festival 2026 in Anaheim is a two-day event spanning Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, with each day of the show featuring unique stage activities and concerts. Event tickets will cover both days of the show and individual day passes will not be sold.

Question 3

How much are tickets to the event and what is included?

Accepted Answer

Each ticket will cost $249.99 ($264.99 after fees*). Each ticketed attendee will be granted access to both days of the event and other FINAL FANTASY XIV-related goodies in a "goody bag". There are no in-game items included with the event ticket.

Can I cancel my ticket and receive a refund?

All ticket sales are final, and refunds will not be available. We recommend confirming your plans before purchasing a ticket. If the show must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a requirement from state or federal authorities due to escalating pandemic conditions, then all tickets will be refunded.

Is there an age limit to attend the event?

You must be 13 years of age or older to purchase a ticket.

Children under the age of 13 are permitted to attend the event without a ticket, but they must always be accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Those without a ticket are ineligible to receive a goody bag or participate in activities.

Question 6

What accommodations will be made for ADA attendees?

Accepted Answer

During the ticket purchase process, users will be able to indicate their need for ADA or similar accommodations by entering in their email address. Following the conclusion of ticket sales, our support partner will email each requestor to set up a call to discuss their needs so that we can best plan to accommodate their attendance.*

The show floor and other locations will have clearly marked areas for ADA access, such as ticket redemption, show floor activities, and permanently placed seating in the main hall. We will also have unique identifiers for these guests to ensure that they can access these resources.

When will tickets go on sale?

Active FINAL FANTASY XIV subscribers will be able to enter a random drawing for the opportunity to participate in a player-exclusive purchase period. After this player-exclusive purchase period ends, there will be a general sales period that will be open to everyone. Please review the announcement regarding ticket purchases.

Will the event be streamed?

Yes, portions of the main stage panels (such as the keynote, development panels, etc.) will be streamed via our official YouTube/Twitch channels so that players around the world can enjoy the exciting announcements! Please note that some portions of Fan Festival may not be streamed.

Fan Festival 2026 in Anaheim Costume Guidelines & Policies

We love seeing the amazing creativity and passion the FFXIV community expresses through cosplay during Fan Festivals. Whether you're walking the show floor in a casual or an elaborate glamour, we want to ensure you have clarification on what is or isn't allowed at the event so you can plan accordingly.

To ensure the safety of all attendees we've compiled a list of guidelines and policies for cosplayers attending Fan Festival 2026 in Anaheim:

Costume Guidelines

Shoes are required at all times during the event.
Costumes that expose excessive portions of the body, as determined by Square Enix in its sole discretion, are prohibited. The wearer will be asked to change into different clothing at the discretion of event staff.
Attendees in costume must be able to move around on their own unassisted and not obstruct or impede flow of traffic or entryways. We encourage attendees who may have bulkier costumes with large extensions to have a designated handler to assist them at the event.
Costumes that feature bags or backpacks must still be checked and inspected.
When going through security, be prepared to remove elements of your costume for further inspection if requested. For example, stilts must be removed. (Updated 4/8/26)

Realistic cosplay of first responders and/or security is not permitted. (Updated 4/8/26)

Prop & Weapon Policies

All props and weapon replicas must be inspected, approved, and marked daily before entering the event. Once your prop has been marked, the tag must remain visible at all times while at the event.

Weapon & prop inspection will take place at a designated table located to the left of the main hall (Hall C) entrance doors, after attendees pass through the security screening & bag check. (Updated 4/15/26)

Prop and Weapon Replica Guidelines

No real weapons are allowed at the event. Props and weapon replicas must be easily distinguishable from real weapons.
All props and weapon replicas must conform to state (California Code, Penal Code - PEN § 16700) and federal law. (Updated 4/8/26)
Props and replica projectile costume props, and replica firearms (such as machinist weapons), must be rendered inoperable and covered with brightly-colored caps. (Updated 4/8/26)
Props and weapon replicas must be non-functional.
Props or weapon replicas capable of firing any projectiles are not allowed.
Bows should have no string or be loosely strung and unable to fire arrows.
Arrows must have tips removed and be bundled to a quiver.
Airsoft, or other projectile-firing weapons are not permitted. Some toy projectiles, such as Nerf guns, used as a prop base may be allowed so long as they are unable to fire projectiles. (Updated 4/8/26)

Swords, blades, and knives or weapon replicas may not have pointed or sharp edges.
Props or weapon replicas may not have excessive weight or be constructed of metals. Particularly "live steel" (sharp metal blades) is strictly prohibited. (Updated 4/8/26)

Props and weapon replicas should be constructed out of safe lightweight prop-making materials such as rubber, foam, or thermoplastics.

Event staff may confiscate any prop and weapon replicas that are in violation of these guidelines, as determined by Square Enix in its sole discretion.

Square Enix reserves the right to modify the guidelines and policies at any time without notice.

The following terms (the "Agreement") govern the purchase and any use of ticket(s) for, FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Festival 2026 in Anaheim ("Fan Festival"). You hereby agree to each of the following terms:

YOU HEREBY ASSUME ALL RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN FAN FESTIVAL including, by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from any equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by Square Enix, Inc. ("Company"), its current or future affiliates, or any of their officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, or event organizers or other related vendors (collectively "Group") or because of Group's possible liability without fault.
YOU WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE GROUP from any and all liability, including but not limited to liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released; for your personal injury, property damage, property theft, or disability; for actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to you regarding your attendance at and participation in Fan Festival; or for any other liabilities or claims related to this release.
YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE GROUP from or over any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of your attendance at and participation in Fan Festival, regardless of cause, or otherwise related to this release.
All tickets are a revocable license. Company reserves the right to cancel and, in Company’s sole discretion, refund your ticket, for any reason and at any time. Otherwise, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable, AND CANNOT BE EXCHANGED.
You hereby grant Company and its designees permission to record you—including your appearance, likeness, voice, performance, etc.—and any pre-existing materials furnished by you during, or in connection with, your attendance at Fan Festival via any method or technology of recording, including, but not limited to, video and audio recording, still-image recording, and any other data produced or captured in connection with Fan Festival (the "Recordings"). You further agree that (i) all Recordings are the exclusive property of Company and (ii) Company, as well as its affiliates, assignees, licensees and partners, may reproduce, distribute, perform, display, and create derivative works from the Recordings in any medium, throughout the universe, in perpetuity, for any and all purposes (including commercial and advertising purposes), except as prohibited by law.
You agree to follow the Fan Festival Event Rules & Regulations (which will be announced at a later date prior to Fan Festival), and any applicable laws, mandates, health orders or directives, terms and conditions from the venue, and any other conditions by Company (each of the foregoing collectively "Rules"). Company reserves the right, without refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or remove from Fan Festival any person whose conduct is deemed by Company to be disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language towards others, who engages in harassment or threats of any kind, or whose behavior Company deems as non-complaint with any Rules in Company’s sole discretion.
You acknowledge that you are at least 18 years old and at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and are competent to contract on your own behalf. Minors under the age of 18 who wish to purchase tickets or attend Fan Festival must have their parent or guardian purchase tickets on their behalf. You acknowledge you have carefully read, understood, and agreed to each term above.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles, California, United States.
